Back side is made by high quality plywood that allow the many parts of the clock to be stable and aligned even if hanged to the wall. 4 pillars make the clock back side not fully attached to the wall so the clock will not leave the shadow to the wall. The metric hinges allow the clock door to be stable for infinite time. Mr. Stefano gives a nice medium walnut finish to the clock case half shiny interior and exterior because made of pieces desassambled. Hand bevelled glasses by Mr. Giovanni Casella all around and inside 2 glass shelves side to side. Therefore clock is elegant luminous and available to hospitate many small objects inside even behind the pendulum.
Movement:
Original German mechanical movement from the company Kieninger, they do clock movements in the Black Forest since 1912; made of solid high thick brass large size. It may play quarterly one of 3 different chimes on 8 notes: Westminster chime, Whittington chime and St. Michael chime. Then the strokes hourly. Weekly spring driven winding by rotating the key inside the 3 front holes at the white dial. The pendulum has been made by German company Jaeckle since 1888 and it shows the R and A: it means that rotating its buttom nut it may slow down or being faster. It can NOT stop to chime automatically night time. It has the true second hand that makes 60 seconds per each minute. Clock movement features: self oiling, self centring, self regulating and you may rotate minute hand counterclockwise trouble free. Moreover it has been prepared in a package all once dial plus clock hands plus mechanism with the easy mounting back system to the back side of the clock case, brass colored. It has the side lever to select the chime and to shut off the chime totally. Pay attention not to change chime while clock is already playing and immediately before or just after it has played any sound. White plain round dial Jaeckle made too. Genuine porcellain made pendulum scale. Do not overwind.
Warranty:
We grant 2 years totally worldwide. It has the operating and starting booklet in 16 different languages included. We also will include usb pen drive showing start up videos in English language too. Clock wood has been selected in 10 years so it's dry and safe itself. About the movement package it includes the dial and the hands once. So simply open the door, it comes off to the front, simply by unscrewing the 4 screws from the back panel all once because all pre-assembled over a back bracket. If you send or bring back the old one we give you a new clock movement package for free during the first 2 years and later at sole its cost. Anycase you do not need to repair or to ask people to come to your house. Simply self made replacement and per post sending back the old one to us.
