Case:
Faithfull reproduction of Vienna style wall clock made of solid American Toulipier, back side of finest plywood and the 6 finals (central ones are little larger) made of solid Italian walnut wood. Back side mantains the clock case stable even if it stays hanged and the metric hinges mantains the front door vertically always. The 4 pillars make the clock back side far from the wall and so to avoid the shadow. It has hand bevelled glasses all around by Mr. Giovanni Casella and the side glasses too. Also we mantained the 2 side brass grids on top to allow the sound expanding outside the case. Mr. Stefano gives a nice medium walnut finish to the clock case half shiny interior and exterior because made of 30 small pieces desassambled. Mr. Franco hand carved directly to the wooden pieces of solid Lime wood all the carved decoration without using the machine carving as first.
Movement:
Original German mechanical movement from the company Hermle, they do clock movements in the Black Forest since 1920 made of solid brass. It plays the “Bam” chime hourly and a single tone at the half hour. Clock movement features: self centring and self regulating. Clock winding weekly by rotating the cranc key in the 2 holes in the round dial. If you do not want the clock to chime simply wind up the right side cable only. Please rotate the minute hand clockwise only. Also German made by Hermle round dial embossed with 2 brass rings and printed black roman numerals over white color alu and “extra large” because it's 20cm diameter instead of just usual 11 or 18cm. Orginal Hermle German lire brass pendulum even “extra large” because of 140mm diameter and high thick as the ancien ones, by rotating the bottom nut to the left the time slow down and if you rotate it to the right the pendulum disk moves up and so the clock will be faster. Nice large genuine emaille pendulum scale. Brass polished weights.
Warranty:
We grant 2 years totally worldwide. It has the specific operating and starting booklet in 2 languages included. Clock wood has been selected in 8 years so it's dry and safe itself. The movement easly come out to the front side just after unscrewing the 2 gray color bottom screws that fix it over the bracket brass color that hang it to the clock back side. If you send or bring back the old one we give you a new clock movement for free during the first 2 years and later at sole its cost. Anycase you do not need to repair or to ask people to come to your house. Simply self made replacement and per post sending back the old one to us.
