The clock case has been made of solid French Lime wood all around: it has the top curve openable and the screwed back side. About 12 and 14cm high thick pieces of wood. First the high schooled selection glueing drying and then the machine carving; during it the operator Mr. Carlo verifies continuosly the cut out of the extra parts of solid wood not needed for the real carving. Fully hand made carving and then glass paper sending by the carver man “Franco Franzoso”. Clock sculpture includes many parts so that finely refinished before assembling. Clock glass is 5mm thick and bevelled all around manually by artisan Mr. Giovanni Casella. Wooden stick fixed. Up to 14 years waiting for the Lime wood that is solid to be naturally dryed before the hand made carving. Light and gently show case style clock featuring a carving and a superior lacqeuering in home. It’s a clock that allows you to admire a great valuable clock movement and pendulum swinging in the inside and enrich your room at the same time.
Movement:
Original German mechanical movement from the company Kieninger, they do clock movements in the Black Forest since 1912 made of solid high thick brass large sized. It plays Westminster chime quarterly. Then it plays the strokes hourly. Weekly wind by pullind down the chains. Clock movement features: self oiling, self centring, self regulating and you may rotate minute hand counterclockwise trouble free. Moreover clock may not chime night time from 10pm untill 7.15am automatically.
Warranty:
We grant 2 years totally worldwide. It has the operating and starting booklet in 16 different languages included. We also will include usb pen drive showing start up videos in English language too. Clock wood has been selected in 6 years so it's dry and safe itself. About the movement package it includes the dial hands once. So simply open the top door and the top curved panel and screw off the back side panel, it comes off to the back side simply by unscrewing the 2 gray screws and if you send or bring back the old one we give you a new clock movement package for free during the first 2 years and later at sole its cost. Anycase you do not need to repair or to ask people to come to your house. Simply self made replacement and per post sending back the old one to us.
