Case:
The clock case has been made of solid French Lime wood frontly all that applied over a quality made plywood structure curved in the 2 sides and finally a back side made of the finest mdf to complete and to stabilize the movement indipendently from the big front carving. About 12 and 14cm high thick pieces of wood. First the high schooled selection glueing drying and then the machine carving; during it the operator verifies continuosly the cut out of the extra parts of solid wood not needed for the real carving. Fully hand made carving and then glass paper sending by the carver man “Franco Franzoso”. Clock sculpture includes many parts that have been polished separately so that finely refinished before assembling: the 4legs, the base, the body the super central angel and the 2 side ones. Clock top glass is 5mm thick and bevelled all around manually by artisan Mr. Giovanni Casella. The bottom glass is blown and has 2 applied flowers and screwed sticks to fix glass instead of cord.
Finish:
The Venetian lacquer is a white basic color with cracquelè and soft polycrome colors brush painted, mat acrilic transparent finished, according to the new laws for the safe environement. Artist and painter woman Mrs. Lara Finotti from Bovolone Verona is gluing each piece of the genuine gold leaf due to her fine sensibility and taste.

Movement:
Original German mechanical movement from the company Kieninger, they do clock movements in the Black Forest since 1912 made of solid high thick brass. It plays the Westminster chime quarterly and the strokes hourly. Accessories also include: genuine brass lire pendulum and weights and the moonphase dial (that indicates the position in the sky of the moon globe day per day) all them made in Germany by the Jaeckle company since 1888. Clock movement features: self oiling, self centring, self regulating and you may rotate minute hand counterclockwise trouble free. Moreover clock may not chime night time from 10pm untill 7.15am automatically. Clock winding weekly (about 10 days totally) by pulling down the free part of each chain and so making the weight moving up. It goes down 12cm per day making the clock running and chiming.

Clock monphase dial regular following the northeuropean style or much warmer possible one fully hand painted as per a picture by painter man Paul Merkte German old man that paints the major european monuments and the man face over the moon globe too. So that the clock is fully hand painted over the dial and its case. In 1968 the founder Mr. Antonio Altobel started hand working and processing this clock model the code was #SZR.01 and 01 means the first model ever made by copying the reproduction of the clock masterpiece made by Venetian woodworkers by the Vienna court for the Sissi Princess. Then improved it, made it taller larger deeply carved enriched a lot as you can see it now and also hand lacquered.
Warranty:
We grant 2 years totally worldwide. It has the operating and starting booklet in 16 different languages included. We also will include usb pen drive showing start up videos in English language too. Clock wood has been selected in 10 years so it's dry and safe itself. About the movement package it includes the dial hands once. So simply open the top door, it comes off to the front simply by unscrewing the 2 gray screws and if you send or bring back the old one we give you a new clock movement package for free during the first 2 years and later at sole its cost. Anycase you do not need to repair or to ask people to come to your house. Simply self made replacement and per post sending back the old one to us.
