Case:
Holland style clock that's good for any kind of furnishing, really. It has the finest Ferrara's burl in the base and on the removable top part, also called Palladium veneer in the sides and over the doors too. Solid American Toulipier wood for the doors and 45° cuts in order not to see any movement of the burl even after many years. Doors made of solid wood instead of simply mdf in order to have them properly finished all round their own borders and nice taste when weekly operating with the clock. Finest Italian Walnut burl hand made by Mrs. Ambrosi that already has 60 years experience: not the cheap large veneer from the roof but the one coming out from the last portion trunck trees where the brances start. We cut that part in slices as a salami and then join eachother by hand and a cutter.. Glasses are 5mm thick and all around bevelled by hand by Mr. Giovanni Casella. The clock top part has been made complete itself and separable. During shipment has been screwed to the back side and so fixed but openable anytime and sliding to the front as per a regular drawer. It has been finely polished inside too. It allows to verify the movement package fully quickly easly. Gold plated hinges and regulating screw for adjusting each of them during the years. Both doors have lock and key, the large glass allow a luminous swinging for the clock pendulum.
Finish:
Exclusive finishing made by a quite solid lack medium walnut color. All that is made by basic water accoring for the safe environement laws and as first we did the venner protection and the not yellow turnishing procedure. Therefore it will never change tone even after many years. The lack thick also will cover the small cuts around the burl portions.
Movement:
Original German mechanical movement from the company Kieninger, they do clock movements in the Black Forest since 1912 made of solid high thick brass. It plays the Westminster chime quarterly and the strokes hourly. Accessories also include: moonphase dial/face and the genuine brass lire pendulum and weights all them German made by the Jaeckle company since 1888. Clock movement features: self oiling, self centring, self regulating and you may rotate minute hand counterclockwise trouble free. Moreover clock may not chime night time from 10pm untill 7.15am automatically. Clock winding weekly (about 10 days totally) by pulling down the free part of each chain and so making the weight moving up. It goes down 12cm per day making the clock running and chiming.
Warranty:
We grant 2 years totally worldwide. It has the operating and starting booklet in 16 different languages included. We also will include usb pen drive showing start up videos in English language too. Clock wood has been selected in 10 years so it's dry and safe itself. About the movement package it includes the dial hands once. So simply open the top door, it comes off to the front simply by unscrewing the 2 gray screws and if you send or bring back the old one we give you a new clock movement package for free during the first 2 years and later at sole its cost. Anycase you do not need to repair or to ask people to come to your house. Simply self made replacement and per post sending back the old one to us. Moreover the full top part of the clock slide to the front as per a drawer for an easy access to the movement pacakage.
