The clock case has been made of high quality mdf and then plated by fine palissander veneer and the finest imitation of the tortoise shell skin. Gold plated bronces made of solid brass fusion by hidden wax processing and then one by one chiseled by Mr. Giovanni Prada. Gold plated hinges too. The clock has the base and the top part for an esier handling and trasportation. Small slim door in the base and 2 openable bezels on its top with curved glass for seeing both movement and dial. Shiny high glossy finish made of poliester lack 100% including a protection in order to have not drying the red color inside the tortoise shell skin never.
Movement:
Original German mechanical movement from the company Kieninger, they do clock movements in the Black Forest since 1912 made of solid high thick brass. Each movement part: screw plates and wheels have been shiny fished in order to cover all the brass poors and preassembled with the 3 different chimes. The small side lever allow you to select between the Westminster chime quarterly and the strokes hourly and the San Michael chime and the Whittington chime too. Named clock hands, Instead of the pendulum movement has the “Swiss escapement wheel” that swings continuously making the finest accurancy for that reason the 11 bushings have been made of stone: genuine ruby. Clock movement features: self oiling, self centring, self regulating and you may rotate minute hand counterclockwise trouble free. Moreover clock stops itself to chime night time from 10pm untill 7.15am. Clock winding weekly by rotating the key in the 3 holes at the dial, do not overwind the 3 springs.
Specials:
It's very hard to mantain a faithfull reproduction of the “Nuvola” clock as did by Mr. Boulle at the court of Sun King in France 300 years ago. Since the 70's we did improve it and we may offer the same “cloud” design on it's top around the dial as per the exclusive unique piece did originally. We also include a small bottle of liquid gold in order to cover the oxid points that may occour during the many years over the small corners that can not be finished by the hidden wax system.
Warranty:
We grant 2 years totally worldwide. It has the operating and starting booklet in 16 different languages included. We also will include usb pen drive showing start up videos in English language too. Clock wood venners very finely selected and so they are very safe. About the movement package it includes the dial hands and the bells once. So simply open the top back part, it comes off simply unscrewing 2 gray screws and if you send or bring back the old one we give you a new clock movement package for free during the first 2 years and later at sole its cost. Anycase you do not need to repair or to ask people to come to your house. Simply self made replacement and per post sending back the old one to us. In this model the movement kit/package includes the clock hands and the movement becuase it comes very specially like a precious piece and so premounted already by the Kieninger company including the 11 rubies.
