Case:
Holland style clock that's good for any kind of furnishing. It has the fine Italian Walnut veneer in the base and on the removable top part and applied to the sides too. Solid American Toulipier wood for the doors and 45° cuts in order not to see any movement of the wood. Doors made of solid wood instead of simply mdf in order to have them properly finished and nice taste when weekly operating with the clock. Glasses are 5mm thick and all around bevelled by hand by Mr. Giovanni Casella. The clock top part has been made complete itself and separable. During shipment has been screwed to the back side and so fixed but openable anytime and sliding to the front as per a regular drawer. It has been finely polished inside too. It allows to verify the movement package fully quickly easly. Gold plated hinges and regulating screw for adjusting each of them during the years. Thin doors but both have each lock and key.
Movement:
Original German mechanical movement from the company Kieninger, they do clock movements in the Black Forest since 1912 made of solid high thick brass. It plays the Westminster chime quarterly and the strokes hourly. Accessories also include: moonphase dial/face (that shows the moon position in the sky different dayly one click and it moves on the arch from left to right side) and the genuine brass lire pendulum and weights all them German made by the Jaeckle company since 1888. Clock movement features: self oiling, self centring, self regulating and you may rotate minute hand counterclockwise trouble free. Moreover clock may not chime night time from 10pm untill 7.15am automatically.
Finish:
Nitro finishing for a medium walnut color. All that is made by basic water accoring for the safe environement laws and as first we did the ammoniac washing to the black vens of the burl for uniform the final walnut color.
Specials:
Antonio Altobel started reproducing this clock for Holland customers in 1968. By the same time we did exporting worldwide we also enlarged, improved it a lot. One of the model that we rebuild much more for a passionate taste of Europe suitable for any room style.
Warranty:
We grant 2 years totally worldwide. It has the operating and starting booklet in 16 different languages included. We also will include usb pen drive showing start up videos in English language too. Clock wood has been selected in 10 years so it's dry and safe itself. About the movement package it includes the dial hands once. So simply open the top door, it comes off to the front simply by unscrewing the 2 gray screws and if you send or bring back the old one we give you a new clock movement package for free during the first 2 years and later at sole its cost. Anycase you do not need to repair or to ask people to come to your house. Simply self made replacement and per post sending back the old one to us.
