Case:
Faithfull reproduction of a French Bretagne style grandfather clock. Really gently shaped and made of solid American Toulipier wood and Tanganika burl plated over the hand made side curved plywood panels. The clock top part is easy removable to the front as per a drawer for installing the movement but even for a really accurate water based medium Walnut finish all over interior and exterior. Mr. Stefano did a great finishing half shiny on all the case. 2 doors: on top for the dial, the central one “Guitar shaped” for lending a delicate atmoshere due to the slow swinging of the pendulum without the chains in front. Bevelled glass hand made all around 5mm thick by Mr. Giovanni Casella. It displays on top the moon position dayly movement and knowing the next full moon was used for travelling night time too. Bottom diamond cut wood portion is removable for a fine bottom polishing but in the past was used as an home secret compartment. The 2 very top flower carvings have been hand made on solid wood by Mr. Franco.
Movement:
Original German mechanical movement from the company Kieninger, they do clock movements in the Black Forest since 1912 made of solid high thick brass large sized and shiny polished brass plates. It may play one of the 3 different chimes on 12 notes: Westminster chime, Whittington chime and San Michael chime quarterly, then it plays the strokes horly. Weekly wind by rotating the cranc key inside the 3 front holes at the dial instead of the chains in front of the pendulum. It also automatically may swap the chime itself hourly. It has the moonphase dial and the true second hand that makes 60 seconds per each minute properly because one pendulum swing left to right side is a second. It has the long lire pendulum and decorated big size weights all them German made by the Jaeckle company since 1888. Clock movement features: self oiling, self centring, self regulating and you may rotate minute hand counterclockwise trouble free. Moreover clock may not chime night time from 10pm untill 7.15am automatically. Very solid clock dial, made of brass high thick and applied big numerals.

Specially included the extra long lire pendulum with the circle engravement on its bob, so each its swing corresponds to a second for a gently and armonious atmosphere.

We grant 2 years totally worldwide. It has the operating and starting booklet in 16 different languages included. We also will include usb pen drive showing start up videos in English language too. Clock wood has been selected in 5 years so it's dry and safe itself. About the movement package it includes the dial hands once. So simply open the top door, it comes off to the front simply by unscrewing the 2 gray screws and if you send or bring back the old one we give you a new clock movement package for free during the first 2 years and later at sole its cost. Anycase you do not need to repair or to ask people to come to your house. Simply self made replacement and per post sending back the old one to us. Moreover the full top part of the clock slide to the front as per a drawer for an easy access to the movement pacakage.
